Alanna Stelzer

I have been the administrator at Thunderbird Internal Medicine since 1989. During that period of time I have been a part of many changes at Thunderbird Internal Medicine as well as in medicine in general. Some of the more significant changes for our office have been a move to our current location, growing from 3 physicians to our current 10 Physicians and 2 Physician Assistants and staff of 45, computerization of our medical records and appointment systems and expansion of our hours from 9-5 Monday - Friday to our current 7-6 Monday - Friday and Saturday 8-1 All of these changes have been made to better accommodate You - our patient as well as to keep up with changes in medicine.

On a more personal level - I have a B.S. in Nursing from the University of Minnesota. Prior to coming here - I was a consultant for medical practices on a national level and did public speaking and authored 2 books on practice management that sold nationally. I gave that up to limit my traveling to pleasure only and am now fortunate to be able to travel internationally for 3 weeks each year for vacation. I have been to all continents including Antarctica
