Brian
Riveland M.D.
I have been in practice since July of 1987. I joined Thunderbird
Internal Medicine after moving to the valley after residency. I was born and
raised in Lincoln, Nebraska a great place to grow up. However I am now a
certified "cold weather pansy" after living in the valley as long as I
have. I lived in Cincinnati for 3 years during my residency and enjoyed
the Ohio river valley and all that the river front had to offer.
Since being in practice I have found that the rewards of patient satisfaction
are what sustain me in dealing with some of the frustrations we all experience
with the medical system today. I also spend time trying to look at how
things can be made better in the delivery of care with several different
committee activities at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital and the Banner Health
System.
I enjoy exercising, dining out, fine wines and playing the piano in my spare
time. I also spend quite a bit of time exploring computerization in the
delivery of health care in the out patient setting.
