We have now implemented a new Electronic Medical Records program in order to better care for our patients.  Beginning in November 2001 we transitioned to Soapware,  a user friendly, medical record with many features enabling the practice to move towards a paperless medical record. You may be seeing our providers entering data directly into the record as you are seen.

You may not be aware that many quality and service activities occur at Thunderbird Internal Medicine.  Here is a list of just a few of the many activities that are ongoing in the care of our patients.

bulletQuality Committee.  Developing and implementing new  ways to enhance service level and clinical quality within our practice
bulletCompliance Committee.  Overseeing the many issues of Federal and local regulations pertaining to the care of our patients.
bulletMedical Records Committee.  Looking at innovative and useful ways to improve the documentation of our care of our patients using our new Electronic Medical Records system.
bulletTotal Quality Management Committee.  Focused on enhancing the office functions and systems that affect our ability to deliver superior quality to our patients.
bulletLab Director.  Oversees the function of our lab, quality measures, compliance with local and Federal regulatory bodies,  as our lab is providing critical information to the care of our patients.

We are proud of the commitment to quality at all levels of our care for patients.  These are just a few ways that we are devoting resources to the pursuit of clinical and service excellence.
