Why do we need to show our insurance card each visit?

In these times one of the most challenging jobs is keeping track of all the numbers assigned to us in all of our daily activities.  We strive to be as accurate as possible when we file to your insurance company or Medicare.  Many times people change insurance company's, or their particular plan changes, or the insurance carrier issues new numbers.  If we have even one number or letter wrong then we cannot get paid for our services.  We feel this is the best way to prevent us from having to bother you for more information after you leave our office.  We think of it much in the same way as a credit card we each have to show each time we make a purchase.  We thank you for your cooperation!
