Paul
Edgecomb M.D.
I grew up in a small town in chilly New England, then earned my undergraduate
degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, but moved here after medical
school to catch up on all the sunshine I missed out on earlier. Along the way, I
have traveled three continents (so far), and spent a summer in Guatemala
researching infant diseases in a rural farming village.
After residency, I spent two years working as a hospitalist at Thunderbird
Samaritan hospital (now known as Banner Thunderbird), taking care of some of the
most ill patients in the West Valley. I am now turning my attention to office
medicine as I have always felt that preventative medicine and health maintenance
can achieve much more.
Leisure-time activities include hiking in the desert, traveling and amateur
astronomy.
