What is a Physician Assistant?

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Phoenix at age 13 and consider this home.  I have enjoyed experiencing a variety of activities. My early adulthood started with an "out of this world" experience -my sisters and I were all skydivers..  Now  I pursue more "down to earth" activities such as reading and enjoying  a great 7 year old daughter.

After finishing my training as a Physician Assistant in Maryland, I returned to the Valley to begin my career.  Initially I started working in an inner city emergency department providing care for primarily indigent patients who lacked regular care.  This experience was extremely valuable in many personal and professional ways.

At Thunderbird Internal Medicine I get satisfaction from the ability to provide patients care that are in need of urgent attention.  It is my goal to act as a partner with their physician for  each patient that needs urgent care in a way that allows patients to be seen quickly, yet personally and thoughtfully address their individual needs.  I am very touched when patients request to see me, and I will continue to provide urgent care conscientiously to our patients

My passion is really my family.  They are extremely important as children are the true future of humankind.  I want my daughter to have the ability to do whatever she would like to do.
